COOL FLAME

ULLY ARNDT: „Cool Flame is a total work of art that runs through my entire life. It brings together all my romantic ideas and memories of comics and films, as well as the coolness of the heroes from my childhood and youth!“

The Cool Flame world began with The Reporter on Bild.de. Initially a satire of the noir genre, the character gradually evolved into the cool lifestyle reporter Harley Flame, the protagonist of the legendary film project. There was also a fashion-comic special featured in MAXIM magazine. Harley Flame and Gina Lopez went on to celebrate their success in Cool Flame The Game, created for the global launch of the BMW 1 Series. Ully Arndt was honored in 2004 as the creator of Cool Flame The Game with the New York Festivals World Gold Award.

Flame. Tell me something. Do you find me attractive?

The screenplay by Ully Arndt and Wolf Kuhl for the feature film project Cool Flame, in which gossip reporter Harley Flame battles in the quest for truth, tackles the most pressing issues of our time—#MeToo, fake news, AI, and narcissistic despots—and weaves them into a gripping narrative. As director and creative director, Ully Arndt has crafted an extraordinary lifestyle aesthetic aimed at an adult audience.

All that is my domain: I am the reporter.

I’m here in Montano to promote my latest film.

But I’ve forgotten what it’s about.

You see that little beauty out there? That’s Honey Moon, my latest discovery. She’s going to be my race mascot.

Cabron! Hijo de puta! Que te mueras de asco!

Easy does it!

Stay tuned.

We’re following this story. For you!

Aaaah!!
